APPLICATION
DADMAC 65" refers to a 65% concentration solution of Diallyldimethylammonium
Chloride, a high-efficiency cationic monomer used as a chemical intermediate in
various industries. It is a clear to light yellow liquid that is completely water-soluble
and stable under normal conditions.

Water Treatment :
DADMAC is primarily a precursor to polyDADMAC polymers, which act as effective coagulants and flocculants to remove impurities, decolorize, and kill algae in industrial and municipal wastewater. -
Papermaking :
It is used as an additive to improve paper strength, enhance drainage, and act as a conductive and antistatic agent. -
Daily Chemicals :
It is often an ingredient in shampoos and other personal care products, where it functions as a conditioning and antistatic agent. -
Other Uses :
The chemical also serves as a modifier for synthetic resins, a clay stabilizer in the petroleum industry, and an active ingredient in some disinfectant formulations.
How it Works:
DADMAC's structure contains double bonds (allyl groups) that allow it to polymerize
(form long chains) or copolymerize, creating high-molecular-weight cationic polymers
(PolyDADMAC) that neutralize negative charges, aggregate particles, and impart
positive charge to surfaces, making it highly effective in separation and finishing
processes.
